Emma Watson i NYT Magazine

Det er tydeligvis ikke alle av oss med kort hår som må gå gjennom den kleine utvoksings fasen hvor man ser ut som en idiot og angrer på at man i det hele tatt så på en saks. Emma Watson slipper i hvetfall billig unna. Hun lar jo håret vokse ut nå, men det ser jo selfølgelig bra ut likevel. Og hun kan kjøre den androgyne stilen med en liten Edie Sedgwick twist, uten å se karslig ut. Noe som jeg selfølgelig aldri livet kunne fått til uten å se seksuelt forvirret ut. 

Music Monday /// Olympics ++ The Spice Girls.

There is a God... and she is indeed a woman. Engulfed with nostalgia, the Spice Girls reunion performance at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympics has me as giddy as my former nine year old fan-girl self. Geri, Victoria, Emma, Melanie C., and Melanie B. all took the stage together and performed, "Spice Up Your Life" and "Wannabe." It was an incredible performance. I can only imagine how amazing it was live. 

GIRL POWER!!!

Back from the Road.

Hi guys!

I just made it home from my crazy road trip to Alabama & Illinois. It was a really great time, but I'm so happy to be back in Florida and out of the car! Road trips are cool and all, but they would be so much better if I had a big hippie van with a bed in the back.

As for Holly, she's staying in her NY apartment for a couple of months. She will be down in Miami off and on for work, but in NY she's working on a really exciting project... wish I could share more details, but you'll just have to stick around to find out.

The Makeup Artist and The Madness

Suck in your guts and take care of your toes ladies because Swim Week is officially here. In less than 24 hours the first show for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim Miami will take place, and yours truly will be one of the participating makeup artists. 

Lisa Blue is the first designer to display her collection, and it appears to be one monster of a show with 43 (!!!) models walking the cat walk. Normally shows have between 15-22 models.

MBFW Swim takes place in Miami from July 19th to the 23rd. It's by the same crew as NYFW, so you know it's gonna' be good. Expect to see beautifully tanned, tall goddesses with curves that kill. As for the beauty department, beachy, wavy hair and beautiful sun-kissed makeup will dominate the runways.
