Jack White and Karen Elson aren't the first spouses to celebrate a divorce. But they're surely among the only ones to do it this way: They're celebrating together.
The Detroit-born rocker and his supermodel wife planned to mark their just-announced split with a Friday night party in Nashville, Tenn., featuring "dancing, photos, memories and drinks with alcohol in them," according to a whimsical invitation sent to friends and family.
The two were married in June 2005 at an intimate ceremony in Brazil, where White Stripes drummer Meg White -- White's former wife -- served as maid of honor. Jack White soon left Detroit, and he and Elson settled in Nashville. They have two children.

McCartney last played in metro Detroit at the Palace of Auburn Hills in October 2005. His previous stadium show in the area goes back to June '93, when he hit the Pontiac Silverdome. His most recent show in Detroit proper? It was in May 1976 (with Wings) at Olympia Stadium.
McCartney unveiled plans this week for a show at Yankee Stadium in New York on July 15. SongKick reported that he'll be playing other baseball fields, too, including Chicago's Wrigley (July 31-Aug. 1).
