James Bond Daniel Craig marries Rachel Weisz; 'Green Lantern' sequel in the works; and more

http://liveforfilms.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/rachel-weisz-9.jpgCurrent James Bond Daniel Craig and "The Mummy" heroine Rachel Weisz wed in a small ceremony Wednesday in New York, reps for the English actors have confirmed to the Daily Mail and People.
Just four guests attended the ceremony — Craig's daughter, Ella, 18; Weisz's son, Henry, 4, whose father is director Darren Aronofsky; and two friends as witnesses.
Relationship rumors began last year, after Craig, 43, and Weisz, 41, filmed the thriller "Dream House" in early 2010. They denied the claims then and later in late 2010, when Weisz and Aronofsky announced their breakup in November after nine years together.
Craig stars in the summer action film "Cowboys & Aliens," opening July 29. Weisz can be seen next in the drama "The Whistleblower," opening in August.
"Dream House," in which the two play a married couple, will be in theaters Sept. 30.
• Despite bad reviews and disappointing box office, "The Green Lantern" may get a sequel, the Hollywood Reporter says.
Christopher Meloni, formerly of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," is in talks for a "major role" in the Superman reboot "Man of Steel," Deadline.com reports.
• "Transformers" director Michael Bay is urging fans to see his film in 3-D, in an open letter. Unfortunately, he does not offer to shell out the extra bucks it'll cost you.
• Speaking of Bay's "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," early reviews are in at the U.K. Daily Mirror and Total Film. If the latter can be trusted, ousted star Megan Fox may have the last laugh, after all. The movie — the third and final in the franchise — opens Wednesday, with some late showings Tuesday night.
