How tall are you?

For the record, it's 5-foot-1.

But there are a few other things worth mentioning for the record.

Her block work is strong, her form is excellent, and after Saturday's Division I state track and field meet, she stands tall in Ohio.Richardson finished a brilliant sophomore campaign by winning the D-I 100 hurdles with a time of 14.39 seconds.

Things looked a little dicey early, but Richardson gained ground midway through and leaned out a state championship at the line over Marion-Franklin's Ki'lesia Perry (14.42) and North Canton Hoover's Becca Maj (14.44).

After becoming West G's first girls state champion since 1981 (Kris McKenzie, Class AAA shot put), perhaps now the height question can be put to rest.

"It feels really good," Richardson said. "I didn't make it out of regionals last year, so I got here and said, ‘OK.' And then they told me I had the top time (after Friday's preliminaries) and I said, ‘OK, now I really need to push myself for that race. I want to get first.' And so I went out and got first. It feels really, really good.
