Fourth of July fireworks, festivities (with map)

AVON: The Lake Erie Crushers along with Avon are having a fireworks show following the Crushers game on Monday. First pitch will be thrown at 7:05 p.m.

AVON LAKE: An all-day art fest on Sunday at Miller Road Park and will conclude with a fireworks show after dark. True North Orchestra will perform in conjunction with the fireworks show. The fishing pier will be closed all day and the beach and boat ramp will close at 8 p.m. The boat ramp reopens a half hour after the fireworks conclude.

BAY VILLAGE: A fireworks display will be put on at Cahoon Park on Monday to begin after dark.

CLEVELAND: The Cleveland Indians are hosting a fireworks show Monday following their game against the New York Yankees. First pitch is 7:05 p.m. at Progressive Field.

HURON: Huron’s fireworks display is July 8 at the boat basin. The fireworks show will being at 10:15 p.m.

LORAIN: A fireworks display will be Sunday, in conjunction with Port Fest. The fireworks show is tentatively set for 10 p.m. but the time can vary according to weather conditions. The show will be set off on the Mile Long Pier and will be viewable from the Spitzer Marina and Black River Landing. Food concessions will be available at the Black River Landing.

NORTH RIDGEVILLE: The North Ridgeville Parks and Recreation is hosting a Party in the Park on Sunday in South Central Park and will have food sales starting at 5:30 p.m. Family activities including live music, face painting, magic shows,
