New Deets On Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony Split! |
Jennifer Lopez and singer Marc Anthony have been married for seven years and have 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.
While their decision to divorce seemed shocking to fans, sources say the couple have been unhappy for a while now.
A close family friend revealed, “I know Marc’s short fuse and explosive temper has been an issue. I’ve always thought Jennifer had learned to deal with that”.
But all the blame shouldn’t all be put on Marc, with the source adding, “After all, it’s not like she’s not one to handle herself in big verbal battle. She can let loose herself. I’ve seen her launch some pretty strong screaming matches!”
There are also rumors coming out that Lopez and Anthony’s seven-year marriage could have ended because there was a new man in J-Lo’s life.
The singer recently shot a video for her track “I Am Into You” with a Cuban-born model named William Levy. Levy and Lopez have some very sexy scenes in the video.
Another interesting fact is that shortly after the video was shot, Levy announced he was separating from his wife of 8 years. His wife is a Mexican actress and they have two children. Just a coincidence?
Marc addressed the split in a cryptic manner while performing. The 42-year-old singer dedicated his song ‘No Hay Nadie Como Ella (which means ‘None Like Her’) during his gig in Bogota, Columbia, on Saturday night to his estranged wife.
Anthony told the crowd, “Rumor has it I’m single now. That’s why I want to dedicate the next song to you.”
Despite the split, Jennifer and Marc will still continue working together on ‘Q Viva: The Chosen’, a reality show to discover hidden talent across Latin America.
A source revealed,”Simon has been assured Marc and Jennifer are both professional enough to put on a good show regardless of any personal problems they may be having.
“But behind the scenes it’s a very different story. They are barely on speaking terms, and only converse to talk about their children. The split is far from amicable although they do hope to be friends in the future.
