After a leave that turned out to just be a little over a week, The Huffington Post reinstated Amy Lee--the "over-aggregating" writer suspended by business editor Peter Goodman for lifting too much of Simon Dumenco's Ad Age article for her post. At the time, it seemed like the entire blogging internet either leapt to her defense or just pointed out, as Gawker did, that she was only doing what she was taught to do. Without much comment, a HuffPost spokesman emailed this to Romenesko today:

Huffington Post Welcomes Back Its 'Over-Aggregator'
After a leave that turned out to just be a little over a week, The Huffington Post reinstated Amy Lee--the "over-aggregating" writer suspended by business editor Peter Goodman for lifting too much of Simon Dumenco's Ad Age article for her post. At the time, it seemed like the entire blogging internet either leapt to her defense or just pointed out, as Gawker did, that she was only doing what she was taught to do. The 36-year-old actress and her sweetheart visited Blick Art Materials on their day out on the town.
Amy will hit the big screen with Jason Segel in The Muppets on November 23 - be sure to check out the trailer if you haven’t seen it yet!
Amy is also gearing up for the Superman reboot from Zack Snyder, where she’ll star opposite Henry Cavill! The film is scheduled to hit theaters in December of 2012.
